The Confined Space Training Course aims to provide participants the practical skills and knowledge to work safely in a confined space. The course will also provide the abilities required to provide emergency rescue in a confined space.

The course includes class participation through discussion topics and practical aspects of the course. This is coupled with theoretical elements throughout the course.

Course Duration

It is recommended that most courses be conducted with a maximum of 12 participants over a period of two days. Refresher training can be conducted with a maximum of 6 participants over a period of one day.

Course Requirements

Participant must have an acceptable standard of health, which will allow them to enter into a confined space, using breathing apparatus.

Validity

Confined Space Trainees will be required to take a refresher course every 3 years.

Course Completion Requirements

Participants will be required to complete a short written assessment and ongoing assessment will occur throughout the course.
