How do I know which construction sites (NSW) need an OHS management plan?

An OHS management plan is required when:

  • Construction work is undertaken and the cost of the work exceeds $250,000 (clause 226 of the NSW Occupational Health and Safety Regulation 2001) or at any time when high risk work is being undertaken by an employer.
  • Demolition work or asbestos removal work (for which a licence is required) is undertaken regardless of the cost of the work (clause 317of the NSW Occupational Health and Safety Regulation 2001 outlines definitions of licensed work).

GTSS can assist you in the development of site specific safety plans to ensure your compliance with the NSW OHS Reg 2001
