GTSS Origins - How We Started
It was a workplace accident that started the whole vision of GTSS some 27 years ago. GTSS's Managing Director Clive Grant had a work place injury that ended up snapping his lumbar spine and had to have 2 disks removed from his lower back when he was 21 years old. Clive was unable to move from a bed for a period of 18 months before having an operation to fuse the lumbar spine. He spent a further 6 months under rehabilitation learning to walk again before re joining the work industry.
Over the initial period of 18 months Clive self educated on the UK legislation system before following further academic qualifications and a career in OH & S. It is GTSS's mission to ensure that nobody else goes through the same trauma that affected himself and his family. If GTSS can help prevent this from occurring to any of their staff or that of clients then that is our ultimate goal.

The Lighthouse Logo
The inspiration behind the Lighthouse logo is that it symbolises the ultimate in guidance and safety. The beam of light "leading the way" for ships, safely back into port, and in doing so, home to their loved ones; this was often from a long, dangerous and risky journey.
Safety needs to become an integral part of the everyday culture in all Australian workplaces and we must realise that safety is everyone's responsibility.
GTSS want to provide guidance and safety to everyone and help "Lead the Way" for you and your workers to return home safely from work.
